On behalf of the Russian Academy of Sciences I cordially greet the participants, guests and organizers of the XI Moscow International Energy Forum “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI century”.
The activity of the power engineering specialists has always been connected with fundamental science and with academic research institutions. The development of the Russian power engineering is one of the most important state tasks, from what it depends the development of our economy, the social sector and the security of the country. Today the efficiency of energy resources is more urgent than ever for the development of the economy. Also the experience of the state policy in the field of energy saving and use of renewable sources of energy is extremely important.
Your Forum, existing already for the second decade, is one of the most representative public events, held in the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex, and it has the well-deserved recognition and respect. MIEF is considered by the scientific community of Russia as an authoritative discussion platform for the exchange of views on topical issues of development of the Russian and world energy, international energy security, globalization and sustainable development.
