The General Director of the OJSC OGK-2 Denis Nikolaevich Bashuk will take part in the activities of the business program of the XIII Moscow International Energy Forum “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century”.
The OJSC OGK-2 – is the largest Russian heat generating company with an installed capacity of 18 GW and annual revenue of 100 BRUB. The main activities of the OJSC OGK-2 are the production and sale of electricity and thermal energy. The main market is the wholesale market of electric energy (power).
In 2013, the company has developed 70.7 billion kWh of electricity (about 7% of the total Russian volume). Approximate fuel balance: gas – 68.1%, coal – about 31.7%. The average net capacity factor is 45%.
The investment program of the OJSC OGK-2 provides construction of 3356 MW of new capacity (4100 MW with the reconstructed), confirmed by the agreements on the provision of power (PDM) with the delivery dates in 2011 – 2016. In selecting the equipment, priority is given to the modern high combined cycle technologies. The total amount of the investment program in terms of money is almost 165 BRUB.
