Realizing the importance of adapting to the coming radical changes and new challenges, the State, the business and the community of experts initiated a discussion about the need to review the priorities of the national energy policy. Opened for discussion the project of the updated “Energy strategy of Russia for the period until the year 2035” has received conflicting assessments in the expert and business environment. The key question – what conceptual changes must occur in the state economy policy so that the new role of the fuel and energy complex helped to strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy.
Discussion about the new role of the fuel and energy complex in solving the strategic task of structural modernization of the Russian economy and possible measures to improve its competitiveness will be held in the framework of the plenary session “Structural modernization of the Russian fuel and energy complex: the new role of the Russian fuel and energy complex”, which is one of the key events of the business program of the XIII Moscow International Energy Forum “Russian Fuel & Energy Complex in the XXI Century”. The plenary session will be held on April 20, 2015 in the premises of the Moscow Gostiny Dvor (Ilyinka St. 4).
