International conference on actual problems of renewable energy sector's development in the Russian Federation will hold within the framework of the XII Moscow International Energy Forum «Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century» (MIEF-2014)

Organizing and Program committees of the XII Moscow International Energy Forum «Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century» (MIEF-2014), based on the results of the XI Moscow International Energy Forum «Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century» (MIEF-2013) are planning to hold representative international conference dedicated to the implementation of the provisions of «Energy Strategy of Russia» in the part of development of renewable energy sources within the framework of MIEF-2014 .

According to the 261th  Federal law has a provision on the possibility of exceeding the marginal levels of tariffs if this excess is due measures on energy efficiency, which include RES (renewable energy sources). An incentive for the conclusion of contracts of the regulated entities with objects of renewable energy sources for electricity purchase and compensation for losses. There is also a regulatory frameworks for the development of renewable sources of energy on the wholesale market, which now are only three sources - solar, wind and small hydro (up to 25 megawatts). It is important to adequately understand which technologies should be used, how to maximize the use of renewable energy capacity on the territory of Russia in order not to develop the contradictory situation where tariffs, which will not work effectively.
