Concluding Declaration of the Forum, adopted at the meeting of the working group of MIEF-2013 Organizing and Program Committees has been sent to the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Arkady Dvorkovich.
Proposals and recommendations for the updating of the Energy Strategy of Russia as part of the system of measures in the framework of the new model of economic growth occupy a special place in the MIEF-2013 Declaration. The new Russian Energy Strategy’ main aim of the medium-term period should include the mobilization of resources to keep the position on the global commodities markets and stimulate internal demand for stimulation of domestic demand for goods and services fuel and energy complex industries. It should contain the new criteria of energy efficiency, the priorities of development of the fuel and energy complex and related industries, to take into account new tendencies of development of global energy and develop appropriate products and technology priorities of energy development.
It is proposed to build-up the Russian system of long-term forecasting of Russian and global power engineering development. New economic strategy can become a powerful competitive advantage of Russia only under the condition of its support from the public and business. In this context is the problem of strengthening of trust has an exceptional importance between business and society on the one hand, and the state on the other hand with the increase of the role of civil society in strategic decision-making.
MIEF-2013 Program and Organizing Committees express a hope that the constructive proposals on the Forum, as well as its final documents will promote competitiveness of the Russian Fuel and Energy Complex.
