Today, during the meeting of the Organizing Committee and Program Committee of MIEF-2013, the working group summed up Forum’s results and approved the Concluding Declaration.
According to the Institute of Energy Strategy specialists’ recommendation, the Declaration includes an article that indicates the feasibility of the updated Russian Energy Strategy’s course for the structural forecasting.
As a continuation of this idea and according to the request from the plenary session’s (“Forecasting of the world economy and energy: Russian view”) participants and speakers, the Declaration has been amended due to the necessity to establish a national long-term forecasting system of Russian and world energy development.
According to the consolidated recommendation of the round table’s (“Improvement of national HR policy quality as key competitive advantage in Russia. Significance and importance of science and higher education”) speakers, the draft of Declaration includes an article about the need to fundamentally improve the quality of national human resource as one of the key competitive advantages in Russian economy.
According to professor Alexander Chumakov, Deputy Head at Russian Philosophical Society and one of MIEF-2013 speakers, the draft Declaration paragraph about the trust enhancing between the business, public and the state along with the increasing role of civil society in strategic decision-making, was edited.
