On March 18, 2013, was hosted a regular meeting of the Program Committee of the MIEF-2013. Members of the Program Committee heard the message of the responsible Secretary of the Committee of A.P. Epishov on the preparation of plenary sessions, conferences and round tables in the framework of the Forum. The participants of the meeting agreed on the recent changes to the draft of the Program of MIEF-2013
At the meeting were A.N. Dmitriyevsky - Director of the Institute of Problems of Oil and Gas of RAS, Academician of RAS; V.V. Bushuev - the General Director of the Institute of Energy Strategy, V.A. Kulagin - Energy Research Institute, A.M. Belogor'ev - Institute of Energy Strategy; V.I. Voloshin - the Institute of Economy of RAS, G. A. Ivashentsov - Russian Research Centre of the APEC, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador; I.I. Litvinyuk - the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy MGIMO (University) of the MFA of Russia. In particular, it was decided to recommend to the Organizing Committee the updated version of the Program. It was proposed to hold a plenary discussion, combining in her themes of the two previously planned “round-table” discussions: the first - on the forecasting of the world economy and energy and the second - on discussion of the Energy Strategy of Russia in the context of the new challenges arising from the new vectors of development of world energy.
The participants of the meeting instructed the responsible Secretary of the Program Committee A.P. Epishov to amend to the wording of the draft of the Program, to coordinate it with the members of the Committee in working order, then, to publish the draft of the Program on the web-site of the MIEF and submit for approval to the Organizing Committee of the Forum.
