Today in the work of the MIEF-2013 officially confirmed the participation experts, businessmen and politicians from Algeria, Austria, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, China, the USA, France and Japan.
International status of the Forum “Russian Energy and Fuel Complex in the XXI Century” fully confirmed by annual participation of the representatives of foreign states. In the Forum participated the representatives of the authoritative international organizations, including the European Union delegation, led by EU Commissioner for Energy Gűnther Oettinger; delegation of the UN European Economic Commission, headed by the Executive Secretary Ján Kubiš; the delegation of the International Energy Agency, headed by the Head of Programs of the Caspian, the Caucasus regions and South-Eastern Europe Tim Gold.
In the work of the MIEF-2012 participated commercial organizations, official state structures, international energy organizations and funds from Austria, Algeria, Armenia, Bolivia, Brazil, the UK, Venezuela, Germany, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, Korea, Kuwait, Latvia, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, the USA, Thailand, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden and Japan. More than twenty Embassies of the foreign states in Moscow have sent official delegations, eight of which will be headed by the Ambassadors in the Russian Federation.
The processes occurring in the world energy sector are rapidly becoming more complex and less predictable. Changes in the global energy landscape are gaining momentum, which require of all participants in the global market, the world's largest energy companies, non-governmental organizations and state bodies the consolidated efforts in solving these key problems.
In 2013, the organizers of the XI Moscow International Energy Forum and exhibition “Russian Energy and Fuel Complex in the XXI Century” draw the participants' attention to the role of Russia in international energy policy; the tendencies of development of world and regional fuel markets and the possible consequences of their changes for the Russian Federation, ways of transformation of the world energy order; global energy security; expanding international cooperation, as one of the priority directions of the Fuel and Energy Complex after the entry of the Russian Federation in the WTO.
