On 20 September, the first open session of the Program Committee of the XI Moscow International Energy Forum “Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century” (MIEF-2013) took place in Moscow.

The session considered the MIEF-2013 Program draft prepared by the expert working group headed by A. Epishov, Principal Analyst of the Forum. The Program Committee members and the invited experts discussed the concept of the Forum Program and voiced their suggestions on its further development. The participants decided to approve the proposed main topic and key points to consider at the plenary discussion of the Forum.  It was agreed to hold - in the second half of this November - a round table to review the domestic and foreign strategy of Russia in the context of the dramatic changes observed in the global power industry.
