 OJSC «Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant» (CTRP) confirmed its status of a partner of the X Moscow International Energy Forum «Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century».
The letter signed by A. Fedorov, Director General of CTRP, was sent to N. Ryzhkov, MIEF President Emeritus and a member of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant is a product group of the Russian metallurgical complex and one of the largest domestic tube manufacturers with the total market share of 20%. Besides, CTRP is included in TOP-10 of the world’s biggest tube companies.
It joins iron industry enterprises: OJSC «Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant», OJSC «Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works», metal-sale division of CJSC «Uraltrubostal Trading House», scrap-metal collection/recycling company LLC «ÌЕÒÀ», oil-service division represented by «Rimera Company». CTRP enterprises possess almost all the main technologies for steel tube production. The company’s plants provide over 25,000 dimension types of tubes and structural tubing shapes of carbon, alloy and stainless steels, in compliance with the both Russian and foreign standards.
OJSC «Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant» is currently taking a complex of large-scale measures aimed at the tasks of national strategy that concern construction in the fuel-and-energy complex: how they can be solved by developing and modernizing tube production.
Between 2008 and 2011, OJSC «Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant» implemented a number of innovative projects. Among them there were the finishing center for oil-country tubular goods production/processing and the steel-melting complex «Zhelezny Ozon 32» – based on OJSC «Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works» – and the tube electric welding shop «Vysota 239». This project, implemented at the Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant, is the first project of the Russian «white metallurgy» (as opposed to «black metallurgy», the term traditionally used for the iron industry), a brand new technology of the industry. «Vysota 239» is based on innovations, cutting-edge technologies, maximal process automation and principally new labor conditions.
The company has long experience of successful application of high-quality tubular goods in construction of fuel-and-energy complex objects. Thus, at the Forum, the report «Innovative Development in Metallurgy and Tube Production on the Base of OJSC «Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant» will be presented.
