The meeting of the Energy Committee of the Association of European Businesses in Russian Federation (AEB) has taken the place in Moscow, under the chairmanship of Reiner Hartmann, Chairman of the Committee and AEB.
 Alexander Epishov, the member of the Organizing Committee and principal analyst of the Moscow International Energy Forum «Russian Fuel and Energy Complex in the XXI Century» (MIEF), has addressed the meeting with a short report. In this report an objectives of MIEF-2011 were identified, as well as key topics of the plenary discussion and international conferences in the framework of Forum, and also proposals for cooperation with AEB within preparation to the event and its realization.
The meeting participants unanimously have decided to support the Forum management proposals for cooperation. In particular, AEB will act as the general partner and co-organizer of the international conference «Foreign Investments in the Russian Fuel and Energy Sector: Status and Prospects». Mr. Hartmann said in his speech that this Forum is really one of the key events in the social life of the Russian energy sector and AEB will support MIEF-2011 actively and will do everything necessary for the successful realization of the conference concerned.
